ARE YOU AWARE OF FOG?

TANK MAINTENANCE

ARE YOU AWARE OF FOG?

TANK MAINTENANCE

Water storage tanks are a source of pressurized drinking water for communities. Situated hundreds of feet above sea level, these storage tanks help maintain a steady pressure and flow of safe drinking water to consumers, supplementing the water supply during times of high use, fire, or power failures.  As part of a drinking water delivery system and maintaining safe drinking water quality, they require maintenance. The Walker County Water & Sewerage Authority has implemented a 5 year maintenance program that will consist of inside/outside repairs, inside/outside resurfacing, and scheduled washouts to all of our drinking water storage tanks. As always, maintaining safe high quality drinking water for our communities is our number 1 priority.
