WALKER COUNTY WATER & SEWERAGE AUTHORITY
WILL RESUME IN PERSON BOARD MEETINGS.
WCWSA Board of Directors will resume in person public meetings in May. The Board suspended in person meeting and moved to virtual meetings nearly a year ago, in order to continue to conduct business during the COVID-19 pandemic.
In person Board meetings will be held at the Chickamauga Civic Center, 1817 Lee Clarkson Road in Chickamauga, through the end of the year. Along with providing additional space for those attending to socially distance, a pending construction project at the WCWSA office building in Flintstone necessitated the temporary move.

It is the number one cause of sewer system blockages in the Metro Atlanta area. FOG sticks to the walls of your plumbing and the sewer system and can build up over time. Eventually, it can completely block your plumbing or the sewer system.
The Walker County Water and Sewerage
Authority (WCWSA) in Georgia currently
provides water to its distribution system
using three different groundwater well
fields in Chickamauga, Coke Oven and
Kensington, with the largest of these located
near a former water filtration
plant within the City of Chickamauga.
